Amy Honnig
PhD candidate Chemical Engineering
Drexel Faculty Mentor: Giuseppe Palmese
Amy Honnig is a Ph.D. candidate in chemical and biological engineering. Under Dr. Giuseppe Palmese's guidance, her doctoral research focuses on the synthesis and processing of carbon/carbon composites from high char yielding polymers. The overall goal of the project is to create carbon/carbon composites in an efficient manner to reduce the processing costs and time. Before attending Drexel, Amy received her B.S. in chemical engineering with a minor in music from Rowan University.
